Revision Recover Plugin

This plugin enables the author of a TWiki page to specify a particular version of a topic to link to.

Syntax Rules

TopicName?rev=<revision_number>

i.e.

RevRecoverPlugin?rev=1

gives

Rev Recover Plugin?rev=1

Known Problems

Use of this revision link syntax causes problems when used within "square bracket" links. The resulting links are corrupted.

RevRecoverPlugin Settings

Plugin settings are stored as preferences variables. The following variables are used for this plugin.

• One line description, is shown in the Text Formatting Rules topic:
  • Set SHORTDESCRIPTION = This plugin enables linking to specific Topic revisions.

• Debug plugin: (See output in data/debug.txt)
  • Set DEBUG = 0

Plugin Installation Instructions

• Unzip the RevRecoverPlugin.zip file into your TWiki installation.
• (Dakar) Visit configure in your TWiki installation, and enable the plugin in the {Plugins} section.
• Test if the installation was successful:
  • Rev Recover Plugin?rev=1
  • Rev Recover Plugin?rev=1.1
  • A Taste Of T Wiki?rev=1
  • T Wiki Contributor?rev=1
