Medieval remains were discovered, including a tree pump at the bottom of a 16th century well, various walls and ditches, Tudor corner foundations, the base of a medieval column, tracery , beaded decorations, and a bed of oyster shells. The excavations were carried out by the Redbourn Research Group. Some of the finds are in Redbourn Museum.

The grounds of the Park Estate are cared for by Park Estate Management Ltd.
