Redbournbury Mill

Redbournbury Mill will be open every Sunday afternoon throughout the year from 2.30-5pm (winter 4.30pm) except for the Sundays immediately preceding and following Christmas day. It will also be open every New Year´s Day from 11am-4pm. See the mill website in case opening times have changed.

Redbournbury Mill is on the River Ver. The Ver Valley Footpath runs near the mill. (See Footpaths Around Redbourn.)

There were watermills here before the Doomsday Book was compiled. The present Victorian mill house and mill was still in use by Ivy Hawkins in the 1960s. The mill has now been fully restored to working order. The Crossley engine providing power when water levels are low.
