Redbourn Playing Fields Trust and Easter Art Show. SEE ALSO Easter Art Show 2011

The Trust was formed in the late 60s with the purpose of providing playing fields and a centre for the local community.

Much hard work and fun over the years provided the Village with 5 acres of land to the north of St Lukes school and a Sports Pavilion in the grounds of St Lukes which after the building of the Recreation Centre was demolished.

The Trust was instrumental in raising money to enable the building of the Redbourn Recreation Centre and Redbourn Bowls Club which are now being managed by the Redbourn Recreation Centre Management Company. Events such as the Easter Art Show. are only one of the ways the Trust raise funds.

The Centre and Trust are always looking at ways to move forward and consideration is now being given towards raising the funds for an all weather Hockey/Soccer pitch.

Easter Art & Craft Show 2008 organised by Redbourn Recreation Centre and Playing Field Trust was Saturday 22 March 2008 10am - 4pm, Sunday 23rd & Monday 24 March 11am - 4pm in Redbourn Village Hall Admission was 50p, 25p concessions, and free for accompanied children.
