Guiding in Redbourn - Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
Redbourn currently has a Rainbow Unit for girls aged 5 to 7 and two Brownie Units for girls aged 7 to 10 which meet during the school term on a weekday evening.
We would also like to reinstate our Guide Unit for girls aged 10 to 14 in the Village and are actively looking for adult volunteers to help run this- See the bottom of this page for volunteering information.

Girlguiding meetings often consist of games, craft, team-building activities, theme evenings and focused development of important issues for girls.
We work towards interest badges as a unit, but the girls are also encouraged to complete some of their own choice at home.
Along side our weekly meeting's in the Redbourn Guiding room we often have outside visit's, trips, campfire's and sleepover's.
We participate in events along with the Scouting movement in the Village and Harpenden, including processions and parade's, service's, fun day's and event's.
We also participate in a varied selection of Guiding events and activities in the Redbourn District, Harpenden Division, Hertfordshire County and Anglia Region.
During the year we try to include our village and community in our meetings as much as possible. All three units are always on the look out for other people with relevant skills that can be used in the units to expand the girls opportunities.
