St Marys Church Organ
Revd Swan's sponsored 'pubs for pipes walk' raised £1500 and together with a grant from Redbourn Parish Council & The Williams Trust and other events makes the total (June 2005) as £67,000.
The target has been reached (November 2005). The Bishop of St Albans gave the address at the Thanksgiving service on 27 Nov 2005 at 6.30pm

- Built by Foster & Andrews in 1877
- Used by Edmund Macrory QC at his home
- Used in the City Temple Schoolroom at Holburn Viaduct
- 1888 acquired for St Marys Church
- 1932 Rebuilt
- 1961 Overhauled

The Work Done
Expected cost was £66,000 excl VAT.
The chosen builder will be
Vincent HMWoodstock, who lives in Redbourn, and has been an organ builder since 1964.
- A new soundboard to the Great and Swell Organ
- Over 1000 pipes to be cleaned and repaired
- New ranks of pipes to be added
- Console overhauled and cleaned

Adopt a pipe.
There are 1468 pipes varing from 6 inches to 16 feet. Small pipes were sponsored for 50p or a large pipe for £100. To have your name on a pipe a donation of at least £100 is required.
